Started in 1987, “The Bentley Group” is a chain of retail stores operating throughout Canada. It currently has 350+ stores which retail luggage, wallets, purses, backpacks and related accessories under various banners.  These banners include Bentley, Access, Collacutt, Jovin, Porters, Unic and Evex. 

The company was started as a  single store operation in St. John’s, Newfoundland and has expanded across Canada through the combination of opening new stores, and the opportunistic acquisition of competing chains. Bentley has grown rapidly in the last twenty years and has become a household name for retail luggage, handbags and accessories, synonymous with value and customer service. It is currently the largest retailer of luggage in Canada, and the largest specialty store retailer of luggage in North America.

The companies operations are meticulously controlled by a head office staff of 120+ employees located in Montreal, as well as supported by a 500,000+ sq. ft. distribution centre located near Canada's capital region of Ottawa-Hull in the town of Hawkesbury, Ontario.
